As
a 3D artist for the last 7 years, I have emphasized my work in character development,
and specifically in character animation. I was hired in January of 2006 at
Ocean Visual FX as a Character Animator and Head of Character Development,
which is an open palette for me to expand my artistic talents, learn from
great people and contribute to the studios ongoing productions. Recent past
studio work includes Character Animation and
general 3D duties on the PC game title "Wild Life!", produced by Clear Crown
Studios. Recent freelance work includes completed 3D duties on a pre-visual
animatic for a new Betty Crocker "Warm Delights" commercial, including
camera animation, modeling, lighting and texturing environments, props and
the “Warm Delights” packaging.
Over the course of my career, I have experience using Lightwave 3D, pmG Messiah,
Maya and 3D Max. Due to my diverse technical knowledge of 3D applications,
I can learn new software, tools, plug-ins and techniques very quickly and
easily. I am a motivated and goal-driven character animator who responds to
feedback, and works great with a team. I have also been working diligently
at applying the "Principles of Animation" and traditional methods
of animation in a 3D environment.
The
skills I bring to a studio include;
♠ Pose to pose and
straight ahead character animation
♠ Modeling
of characters, architecture, environments, 3D text and props
♠ Character rigging using
both forward and inverse kinematics
♠ Development of
texture maps for characters, architecture and environments
♠ Development of morph
maps, weight maps and displacement maps
♠ Experience with many
3D plug-ins and Lscript
♠ Experience with
lighting and particle systems
You will find I am a highly motivated and dedicated person with great technical skills. My resume will provide you with details of my recent experience.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you; you may reach me at home (714) 282-1207,
